Let there be light…

The youth section of Brixham Rugby Club has launched a £20,000 appeal to
replace the club's ageing floodlights.

Club spokesman, Bryan Pitman, reported that the current lights had been in
situ for over 25 years and had been condemned, with the local referee's
society refusing to officiate matches under the lights.

Any former players, members, local residents or businesses that would like
to donate money to the appeal, or even sponsor one of the 16 lights, should
