Ferrers Grammar School Year 8 Rugby Champions
Congratulations
to the Churston Ferrers Grammar School Year 8 rugby team. The
boys recently competed in the South Devon 7 a-side tournament
held at Forches Cross in Newton Abbot and returned triumphantly
with the cup. |

They progressed through their
pool matches undefeated and faced Torquay Boys Grammar school
in the Semi finals winning a hard fought game 19-7. |
The
final was contested between Churston Ferrers Grammar School
and Kingsbridge, with Churston edging an end to end battle
12-10.
Throughout
the tournament Matt Harvey impressed with a solid defensive
performance, Alex Williams and Seb Ratcliffe carried the ball
well.
Man
of the Tournament for Churston Ferrers Grammar School
was Callum Head who scored 13 tries on his 13th birthday!
