Sculpture
On Tuesday evening
in the grounds of the school the new sculpture designed by Phoebe,
a year 13 student as part of her Product Design A level project,
celebrating the Comenius project involving schools in Estonia,
Finland and Spain was officially unveiled.

University
On Tuesday
30th April 16 year 10 students went down to Plymouth
University for a Maths Conference. Whilst they were there they
competed in the "Team Maths Challenge".

Devon Cross Country Championship 24th March 2010
Having already been
postponed, the South Devon CC Championships managed to just
about hold off the torrential rain that had continuously plagued
the term's fixture list.

YEAR
7 MUSIC CONCERT
Over 100 Year 7 students
participated in a concert in the school hall at Churston Ferrers
Grammar School on Thursday 4th March. Each Year 7 class had
prepared a group song and a Year 7 choir involving all of the
students was formed for the final piece of the evening, a rousing
rendition of the popular song “Hallelujah”.

On Thursday, 11th
February, Churston Ferrers Grammar School plated host to 130
very excited Year 5 and 6 pupils from White Rock, Galmpton,
Furzeham, Brixham C of E, Chestnut, Roselands and Tower House
at the Year 10 Young Leaders Netball Festival.
