Rowcroft
Calendar forms the latest Shoal Collection
The
renowned Shoal of Brixham Artists and Rowcroft, the South Devon
hospice, have joined together to create a one off collection
of South Devon scenes to raise vital funds for the hospice.

The
hotly anticipated 2008 Rowcroft Hospice Calendar was launched
on Thursday 28 th June at the Breakwater Bistro, Berry Head
Road, Brixham with the evening celebrating the exciting partnership
with a glass of Pimms, live music by Kenobi and an exclusive
peek at the calendars and artworks.
Images
of South Devon generously donated by the Shoal of Brixham Artists
have been selected to create the Rowcroft Hospice's calendar
for 2008 with each month's artist image also forming a postcard
which can be detached from the calendar to send off. All of
the original artists' works will be on display as part of the
Shoal's exhibition taking place from 28 th June – 15 th July
at the Breakwater Bistro 10am – 5pm daily. |

The
Shoal of Brixham Artists founded in 2003 is dedicated to putting
Brixham, with its flourishing local artistic talent and culture
on the map and the artists who have contributed to the calendar
are John Gillo, Chris Slack, Ian Millstone, Nicky Stevenson,
Pru Preston, Julia Finzel, Lynne Peets, Monica Gamble, David
Cowell, Kevin Cowell and John Stevenson. |

‘We
are incredibly grateful to the Brixham Shoal for their generosity
in donating these stunning images. The diversity of styles and
locations and the amazing quality of each artwork has produced
a fantastic collection which we are sure will make the calendars
incredibly popular.'

The
calendar will be available from the Rowcroft Hospice shops and
Friends of Rowcroft events from mid July and will cost £4.95.
The aim of the calendar is to raise vital funds for the local
charity during its 25 th year of caring for people in South
Devon living with life limiting illnesses.
