Chris Turner commended them on their return to learning and their successes. He explained how the education system was becoming more inclusive allowing students to study at the ‘right' point in their lives.

He particularly commended Sam Lacey and Joan Couch who had completed the demanding GCSE Psychology course and Kim Taylor and Anna Johnson, who were high flyers in French achieving A grades.

Brixham ACL Department plan to offer French GCSE next year when a new group of learners will be ready to progress onto a more formal course. GCSE English and Psychology is now available at South Devon College .
