to celebrate the official launch of the 2009 Rowcroft Calendar.

the Andes fair trade calendar 2009
This has been a busy
year for the Churston-Lucre partnership. For the third year
running we are producing a fair trade calendar to raise funds
for our partner schools in Peru . The project has been run this

when it featured as the subject of a question on popular television

THE YEAR OF READING
The Principals of
Brixham, Paignton and Torquay Community Colleges met with Heather
Maxwell from South Devon College to launch the ‘Year of Reading'
in Torbay . They brought along their favourite books and discussed
why they had selected their particular choice as a good read.

'COAST' COMES TO
TORBAY
Thanks to funding
from the Aim Higher project, people in Torbay have had the chance
to get up close to the coastline with an expert and see just
how amazing it is.

This years Heritage
Festival saw the first time appearance of Brixham boy band MIU
– short for ‘Minor Injury Unit', the name the 6 young musicians
adopted following several coincidental visits to the local hospital!
