Carers are finally
being recognised for their essential and often difficult role
in helping a loved one. June 11 th - 17 th is Carer's week,
a national celebration of the Carer's contribution to the health
of the nation. In Torbay this will be a week where new opportunities
are offered to Carers to recharge their batteries.

protects the environment'. Awareness that the earth's resources
are limited and should not be abused was made clear in many
talks as the week progressed.
