Turning
the Clock Back 200 Years at Berry Head
Work will begin this
week on the exterior of the old Fort Cafe at Berry Head. The
building was first constructed in 1804 as a Guardhouse, before
later being converted into a café.

The Admiral
sets sail
Nearly
a month after its opening the Admiral Swimming Centre, has seen
the former Brixham Indoor Swimming Pool, run for 33 years by
Brixham Swimming Club Volunteers, transformed with a £1,000,000
investment into a quality venue with additional attractive additional
features.

Giving
back something to Brixham
On Wednesday
29th October a group from St Stephen's Church Tonbridge gave
up a day of their visit this year to help Pride in Brixham and
Friends of St Mary's Park in community projects, as they wanted
to give something back to the town they have enjoyed visiting
for the past three years.

Pirate's
ride around Devon
On Tuesday
9th Sept the Sainsbury's store at the Willows Torquay, was raided
by a wave of pirates. Members of the Brixham Buccaneers came
to watch their fellow pirate David Croney start off on his marathon
journey cycling around Devon in just two weeks!

The Great Torbay
recycled Raft Race
On Fri 29th August
Brixham hosted the first ever ‘Great Recycled Raft Race' held
at the Marina Walk in front of Grenville House. The event was
organised by Torbay Play Forum and supported by many organisations
in the community including Grenville House, Brixham Harbour
Master, the Ibex Canoe Club, the Youth service, the Sea Cadets
and the local adventure playground.
