Last weekend (9th & 10th June) Battery Gardens provided the setting for the Heritage Battery Groups presentation of the Battery through the ages. On Saturday they were helped in re-creating a sense of the past with Blitz and Peace's providing musical interludes with ukulele and vocal duets.

Walking around the Green at Furzeham, you can appreciate the many improvements made to the landscape in the last year, including; re-landscaping the former pitch and putt area, removing the central rusty fence, re-pointing and restoring entrance pillars, installing 3 litter bins and 2 notice boards, and restoring the sea view from Bonsey Gardens (rose garden).

Brixham Sea Rangers S.R.S. Churchill was formed in 1941 by A. Hopkins and A.E. Armitage. They both retired in 1969/70 after giving the Crew an excellent start with two wooden Gigs, 1 Dinghy and our lovely Headquarters on the Breakwater Hard.
